I have thus far, on this date of 10/23/2022, counted 72 Molosser breeds. That is far more than plenty. But, it seems that there is forever several people out there with the intentions of creating a new breed of dog. It's like as if each one says to himself, "There just ain't no dog breed in this world good enough for me. So I'm gonna breed the perfect dog." Seriously people! If you want to enjoy dog breeding, then either choose an existing pedigree or do as I do and breed mixed-breeds. But, if you do choose to be creative and breed mixed-breeds, at least have the good sense to breed type-to-type. By this I mean Molosser to Molosser, hound to hound, shepherd dog to shepherd dog, etc. If you breed mixed breeds by mixing one type to another, such as Molosser to sight-hound, or sporting dog to terrier, then you will simply be creating more mutts. And mutts are a dime-a-dozen.
